Haven: Quote

Haven

Book 1 in Rebecca Filmore Series

Haven is a community of families, all living together on a large estate, who by choice have isolated themselves from the outside world. They want nothing from it except the occasional girl to bring in a new bloodline, when they marry their sons.

Becky, a private investigator, and ex-police officer, comes across a dying lady, Molly, while she is out on her morning run. With her last words, she tells Becky that her daughter, Alison, has been taken.

Becky, haunted by the memories of her abducted childhood friend, is determined to find Molly's killer and Alison.

The White Rose Killer

Book 2 in Rebecca Filmore Series

It's six months after Becky assisted the Major Crimes Unit in the raid on Haven and things are going well for her. She has just one thing playing on her mind; who is stalking her?

The Unit, still run by Emma, is looking for the perpetrator of some gruesome killings. The heartless murderer has been dubbed by the papers as The White Rose Killer. Will they stop him before he kills again?

Stefan is still on the run but is determined to find his brother, Jerry. But will Jerry welcome him or turn his back on the man responsible for the abduction and false imprisonment of several women?

Theresa, who has been held captive for several years, wonders if she will ever be free.

Betrayed
Book 3 in Rebecca Filmore Series

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read 'Haven', 'The White Rose Killer' and 'Betrayed' during the writing (and rewriting) process. Their comments, corrections and notes were extremely helpful.

If you have been kind enough to buy my books, I would appreciate it if you could leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads.

Betrayed is the last in the Rebecca Filmore series and sees Becky struggle not only with the trauma from her abduction but with a strained relationship with both Emma and Ethan. At the same time, she gets caught up in trouble while trying to help a defenceless teenager.

Stefan is still on the run, plotting and planning to see his son, Billy, again, but will he succeed?

A betrayal is afoot, leaving Becky devastated; who has she mislaid her trust in?

A little piece of us
it's never too late to be creative

During our weekly writing meet up, it occurred to us how differently we would all interpret a prompt, and the idea of this book was born.

We all set a prompt for everyone to write their version of and the results didn't disappoint.

Some would see sadness, some dipped into the realm of fantasy, and some would see humour. Whether it be a short piece of writing or a poem, every piece was written with care for you, the reader, to enjoy. Each piece literally had 'A Piece of Us' installed into it. We hope that you enjoy our work.

ten minute musings

Green Shoes Arts deliver high-quality arts projects for the community of Barking and Dagenham, London. Victoria Taylor hosts their twice-weekly creative writing workshop. She provides her participants with a prompt in various forms, and they then have ten minutes to conceive an idea and write it down.
It is fascinating how such varied pieces of work are written from the same prompt!
This book contains the writing (or scribbles) that the participants have produced during the last four projects.
Enjoy!
